Terek is in high school, enjoying making super 8 movies with his friend, Omar. When the Lebanese civil war breaks out dividing Beirut into East and West. At first the war is an adventure; the school is closed and the violence fascinating but as they come of age adventure turns to tragedy. Winner of the International Film Critics award at Toronto Film Festival and the François Chalais Award at Cannes Film Festival 1998.
