Detective Curreli is transferred from Civitavecchia to Cagliari. He finds that his new colleagues are reluctant to solve the murder of an old lady who was related to the powerful Ingegne Crescioni. Curreli's unconventional methods however, allow him to see beyond the obvious inferences and ultimately bring him to those guilty of the crime.
