Douglas Quaid, a happily married construction worker in the year 2084, discovers that his entire memory is based on a chip implanted in his brain. His true identity as a secret agent from Mars, was erased by the government and now Quaid travels to Mars. In order to piece together the rest of his identity and find the man responsible for the implant.
