Ex boxer Tom's promising career is long over thanks to an eye injury, his marriage is on the rocks and he is broke. After a chance encounter at the gym Tom is offered work as a doorman at a run down nightclub, which soon leads him into trouble with a local gangster who wants him to join his firm of bouncers.
