Sci-Fi, USA. A group of passengers on a plane from L.A. to Boston wakes up to discover that while they were sleeping the other passengers have disappeared. When they land, they disocver that they seem to be the only people left on the planet. Director: Tom Holland (90). With Patricia Wettig, Dean Stockwell, David Morse.

Thriller, USA. Madeline is a police detective who is assigned to investigate the kidnapping of the wife of a prosperous businessman. Madeline surmises that the kidnapper is a career criminal known to the NYPD as "Harry Houdini" for his remarkable ability to escape capture. Comedy, FRA. In a post-apocalyptic future a butcher turns the apartment complex he lives in into a popular place thanks to his ability to find excellent cuts of meat. But one day the true source of the butcher's meat is discovered. Director: Marc Caro, Jean-Pierre Jeunet (99). With Dominique Pinon, Marie-Laure Dougnac, Jean-Claude Dreyfus.

Thriller, USA. Reporter Malcolm Anderson takes a job on a small town paper hoping to take life in the slow lane for a time. But a murderer he's recently been reporting on liked the article and now calls Malcolm to tell him that he's going to kill again. Director: Phillip Borsos (103). With Kurt Russell, Mariel Hemingway, Richard Jordan.

Sci-Fi, USA. While on a vacation, Nick Conway and his son Dennis are involved in a car accident. Dennis is rushed to the hospital in a remote village where all the residents seem unusually youthful. After a while Nick realizes that the town harbors a secret fountain of youth. Director: David Jackson (89). With Kyle MacLachlan, Alison Eastwood, Joseph Cross.

Action, USA. Jack Walsh is a bounty hunter offered $100,000 to bring in embezzler Jonathan Mardukas. It seems to be an easy task, but Mardukas is wanted by the FBI and is also targeted for assassination by the mob which makes the trip across the country a bit more eventful than expected. Director: Martin Brest (126). With Robert De Niro, Charles Grodin, Yaphet Kotto.

Action, USA. Peyton is the inventor of an artificial skin that can be used to treat burn victims. When crooked people causes an explosion in his lab he is left hideously disfigured and recieves an experimental treatment that gives him super powers. He begins using his synthetic skin to cover his wounds and seek revenge. Director: Sam Raimi (96). With Liam Neeson, Frances McDormand, Colin Friels.

Drama, USA. Sean Penn stars as an Irish-American undercover cop assigned to infiltrate a criminal gang led by the brother of his best friend. Going back to his old neighborhood he suffers the agony of choice between honour and duty. Director: Phil Joannou (129). With Sean Penn, Ed Harris, Gary Oldman.

Thriller, USA. Jonathan Fisher (Reeve) is a journalist that makes up a story about prostitution. The article is well received but the police thinks that the persons are real, and start question him about them. And even worse, the pimp he described in the article also thinks it's about him and he's not happy about it. Director: Jerry Schatzberg (97). With Christopher Reeve, Kathy Baker, Morgan Freeman.

Thriller, USA. Homicide detective Walter D'Arcangelo has been transferred to New Orleans. As soon as he gets there several women, all adulterous, are brutally killed. The murderer seems to know everything about Walter and he has to confront his past in order to track him down. Director: Robert Iscove (90). With Eric Roberts, Ashley Crowe, Linden Ashby.
